The Franzosa Team

Specializing in land and homes on land, I have been a licensed real
estate agent with Thunderbird Real Estate for 17 years and a
licensed independent broker for over 4 years. Born in Boston,
Massachusetts, I was drawn to Santa Cruz County by the natural
beauty of the mountains and coastline 21 years ago and have been a
resident ever since.
In addition to my extensive
experience in Santa Cruz real estate, I am a two-time 1st Place
winner of Santa Cruz Association of Realtors Top Listing and Sales
Award for Acreage, with a track record of outstanding service. I am
committed to helping you and your family to find the property of
your dreams. If you'd like to hear more about one of my listings, or
just chat about what's available, call me anytime at my home office
at

Being born and raised in Santa
Cruz County has given me great appreciation for its unique and
boundless beauty. My love for this area was my first inspiration to
go into Real Estate. My interest in the Real Estate market was
further fueled when, in 1991, my father began working with
Thunderbird Real Estate. Growing up around the Real Estate business
and seeing how much my father enjoyed his work, encouraged me to
seek out my own career in the business. After graduating from high
school, I moved to South Lake Tahoe to study business and Real
Estate at Lake Tahoe Community College. I finished my studies in
Real Estate the following year, but put off taking the state exam to
travel. I spent two months living out of a camper, traveling around
the United States. The time I spent traveling was an extremely
valuable, eye opening experience. From the barren deserts of
Badlands, South Dakota to the roaring splendor of Niagara Falls,
Canada; from the delicate natural formations of Arches National Park
to the concrete jungles of New York City, I feel lucky to have seen
so much of what this great nation has to offer. The first thing
everyone asks you when you return from such a long excursion is "Are
you happy to be home?" After seeing some of the most stunning places
one could imagine, I found that I could still say "Yes!" with
conviction; because I am convinced that there is no more wonderful a
place than here in Santa Cruz County. I guess that old saying, "the
apple doesn't fall far from the tree", is true because in October of
2004, after receiving my real estate license, I too began working
for Thunderbird. So, if you are looking to buy a home, land or
investment property, looking to sell your property or are just
curious about its market value, I'd love to hear from you. Please don't hesitate to
give me a call! Dan Mead
